Here's a list of all the photon tree upgrades and their costs.
Photon Tree Buffs are obtained from your Team's Quarters
Buffs are refreshed every hour.
Not all buffs are always available
When you upgrade the Duration level it's not how long will the buff be in effect to your character
but how long it will available from the tree.
Since buffs refreshes every hour that means there's a possibility that a previous buff you took will be greyed out and can nol onger be received, till the next refresh and if it appears again.
but if you upgrade the duration; they can be receivable for the next # of hours.
